手元にある整理が済んだ「ＦＭエアチェック音源」のご紹介、今週末は「Select Live Under The Sky '92」を３回に渡りお送りいたします。
1992年07月25日の放送では「Pat Metheny Group」と、「V.S.O.P. Quintet Tribute To Miles Davis」の２組を中心に放送され、「Creed Taylor Presents Larry Coryell And 'Live From Bahia'」は１曲だけのオンエアでした。
私にとっては、この時期の「Pat Metheny Group」が一番聴きやすいです。
「Minuano (Six Eight)」、「Third Wind」などのライブ定番曲も演奏してますし。
「V.S.O.P. Quintet Tribute To Miles Davis」は、今聴き直すとウォレス・ルーニー（Wallace Roney）が結構、頑張ってたんですね。
とにかくハービー・ハンコック（Herbie Hancock）とトニー・ウィリアムス（Tony Williams）が、容赦なく（笑）ウォレス・ルーニーを煽ってます。
最初に聴いた時の印象は「気迫だけが空回り」していて辛気臭く思えたのですが、こうして自家リマスターして聴き直すと、「まあ、これはこれでアリなんじゃないか」と思えたりします。
残るロン・カーター（Ron Carter）とウェイン・ショーター（Wayne Shorter）は、マイペースに演奏しているように感じますが、如何なものでしょう。
「Live From Bahia」の「Bee Hive」は、映像ありましたね。
